Life is good. Weather is cold and snowy and icy. I took a "snow day" from work and hope that my part-time job that I'm supposed to head to tonight ends up closing so I don't have to brave the icy roads!

so here goes:

Let's see. 8 Things about me eh?
1. I hate spam forwards that declare you an unfit human if you don't forward it on to everyone you know or else puppys will eat kittens for lunch or some such nonesense.
2. On the other hand, I LOVE writting on my self-acceptance blog "I AM in Shape, ROUND is a Shape.
3. I go through lotion and chapstick like a mad woman in winter.
4. I love to bellydance and need to practice a new solo before the next show.
5. The hubby and I just got a tiny fish tank and a Betta fish we've named Joey!
6. I start the next sememster of classes this Saturday. My weekends will now be completely shot for the next 5 months O.o
7. I'm planning a trip to Maui, Hawaii for after I complete all my classes and get my Master's Degree! (In maybe two years?)
8. I love using my Bamboo tablet to color line arts ^^

Working on some new stuff
So I got intrigued by a contest held by `rachelillustrates (https://www.deviantart.com/rachelillustrates) (here: http://comethime.deviantart.com/journal/34453110/)and am working on finishing the lining and the colors for a piece showcasing some canon characters as BBW/BHM. It's a fun project and right up my alley.
It has been a gloriously fun summer up in the Northeast of New England here. The last few days were VERY rainy but now I'm at work with the sun shining down upon me and feel a bit cat-esque. Very nice.
Let's see, I also have many lines waiting in the queue for me to colorize them when I get the chance and ambition. Perhaps that will come after I've gotten more done on this cu

Okay so I haven't been posting/around much but I do poke my head in once in a while and if I ever get this freaking Masters degree in Library Science finished up I'll probably be around more and back to coloring and posting fun stuff!

I won a contest! :D
I did some pose reference stock for a great contest over at SenshiStock (here: http://senshistock.deviantart.com/journal/28610002/) (which is now on phase 2: Draw a Sailor Moon character using the stock from phase 1)
I am just so thrilled for having taken that step to post images for reference of a non-traditional model body and to have been recognized for my energy! It really gives me hope and not only makes me eager to continue posting images for stock but also makes me anticipate the future in a broad sense.
The short version? I won second place in a great contest and couldn't be happier. :D
