I am stepping my toes into the Stock Image world and for me it is a large step. I realize that I do not have what is considered the culturally beautiful or acceptable body type. I am a fat woman. It is how I come. Yet these body types get very little pose exposure and anyone looking to FIND someone who looks like me posing for reference stock will likely be disappointed as they search. That is why I am putting myself out there (here?).
I am beginning this venture for Pose Reference use only for now. This might change, it might not. What this means is that there will be a watermark on the full-sized images. I apologize in advance if this makes it at all difficult to view poses for reference. If this is the case please do bring it to my attention and I may consider adjusting this policy in the future.
Please note that I have absolutely NO INTEREST in your personal opinion on my body's shape, size or acceptability for posing. You are quite welcome to have any of a wide variety of opinions on my appearance. However, it is YOUR opinion and one which I literally care about not one bit. The magic of the internet is that if you don't like what you see; you can practically instantly click away from the page.
That said, if you have suggestions for how I might improve my lighting or poses you might like to see I would be delighted to hear that feedback and will consider it for future photo sessions.
Images may not be used in any hate pieces or for anything pornographic.
Do not re-post this stock or parts of this stock on other sites/accounts. Do not directly link to the images on DA's servers.
Please note or leave me a link to your work. If it's on DA, I will fav it!
This stock is totally unrestricted for pose reference ONLY. This means that if you use the stock to create your own art from scratch, then you can use it for anything, anywhere. This includes prints, commissions, tee-shirts, commercial use, etc. If you aren't sure, just ask.
Credit is greatly appreciated when the stock is used for pose reference, but it is not required. Please be advised that DA's FAQ suggests linking to stock used to avoid any "confusion or misunderstandings." A link to this account or to the image you used as reference in your comments is appropriate credit if you would like to include it. For help, read this FAQ page to learn how to link on DA:
help.deviantart.com/81/. Please remember to send me a link to your work as I would like to see and collect it!!
If you still have questions after reading these, please note me or comment here and I will do my best to answer. And remember, I am a beginner with this (November 2009) so keep that in mind if you're commenting on the photo/poses. I love to learn and look forward to critique/advice.
