Winter Faerie

This piece is a lot of things for me:

It is my first attempt at doing Line-Art using Photoshop and a scanned in pencil sketch. It took a LONG time but I think with some practice it will get much easier and faster and look so much better than using the crappy pens I have.

She is also the second in a series of season faeries.

I have tried to incorporate my desire to show non-anorexic sized women along with a wintery blue icey theme. Considering how much I hate to drive in the snow I'm chuckling at myself for using so much snow and ice but that IS what winter is about for me.

The background is a bit more elaborate than usual but only cause my basic brushes had a Snowflake shape ^^

Anyways I hope you like her. She's in almost a pitcher's pose to throw the first snowball of winter into her breath of winter's chill. I know her legs are small but think it works for her.
